drg. Carolina Marpaung, Sp.Pros., Ph.D — often called drg. Maya by her patients — is a Prosthodontist with a special focus on Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD), orofacial pain, and jaw function. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Amsterdam, researching TMD and bruxism in children and adolescents.

Alongside her clinical practice at IPON Dental Care, she serves as Head of the Prosthodontic Department at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Trisakti and is actively involved in international research on TMD and chronic pain.

Drg. Maya provides evidence-based diagnosis and treatment for TMD, orofacial pain, complex bite conditions, and prosthodontic rehabilitation, with a personalized approach for each patient.
